to Ibiza? These are my personal favorites: the 5 nicest and best restaurants on the island!

1. La Oliva – Dalt Vila

During a vacation in Ibiza you have to eat at the Dalt Vila at least once. During the day it is very cozy, but in the evening it is beautiful when the lights go on. One of the nicest and best restaurants in Ibiza City is La Oliva (not to be confused with El Olivio that is nearby). Have a typical Mediterranean dinner at one of the most romantic places in the city.

Tip: Make reservations on time, because a table at La Oliva is popular!

2. Kumharas – Sant Josep de sa Talaia

Not only the food at Kumharas is fantastic, the view is breathtaking. This is exactly the place where the sun sets in the evening, and it is perhaps the most beautiful place on Ibiza to watch the sunset. Find a spot on the terrace and enjoy the view, often with laid back live music in the background. Afterwards you will enjoy your meal in a fairytale and super romantic setting. The food at Kumharas is Mediterranean with some Asian influences and really very good. After dinner you can dance for a while

3. Home Loos – Figueretas

Home Loos is Ibiza’s best tapas restaurant, run by a Dutchman.  The food is incredibly good. It’s exactly what a tapas restaurant should be: small wooden chairs, little messy, no fuss. Just order some snacks from the menu, because they are all delicious – and of course a good sangria can be added. Home Loos is located near the boulevard of Figueretas, where it is bursting with the cozy bars. Enjoy the tapas at Home Loos after spending time on the boulevard!

4. Sushipoint – Marina Botafoch (Ibiza Port)

You can eat sushi on many places in Ibiza, but Sushipoint at the port is my favorite by far. A little pricey, but the sushi is super good and the view is also included a bit in the price (so book a table outside on the terrace!). During the summer, Sushipoint also throws great parties!

5. Es Boldado – Cala d’Hort

If you are crazy about fish, you have no choice: you have to reserve a table at Es Boldado on the beach of Cala d’Hort. Here you eat the most delicious fish soup ever, but actually all the fish dishes are fantastic. And you will also get a view of Es Vedra. I don’t believe you can eat somewhere else on the island (outside the Cala d’Hort beach then) overlooking this mystical rock. You’ll never forget another Es Boldado night!
